Hi all, thank you for all your help this whole summer. I just took the Dat today and here are my scores:

PAT: 19
QR: 19
RC: 19
Biology: 18
GC: 21
Orgo: 18
TS: 19
AA: 19

I used Kaplan blue book, Destroyer, Top score pro, cliffs ap bio and crack dat pat.

Overall, the bio section was pretty fair. I would say destroyer and cliffs ap bio helped me the most. Kaplan blue book was basically useless in this section. There were a couple of random, difficult questions here and there but I guess no one can know everything, right?

The orgo and general chem sections were very similar to that of top score pro. Like what everyone said, destroyer is definately overkill in the orgo section. But i guess doing the destroyer orgo section can't hurt right? (unless too much info makes you even more confused)

Wow, the PAT section sorta gave me a scare. Although i did the 5 crack dat pat tests and the ones in topscore pro, some of the keyholes and top/front/end problems did throw me off a bit (probably because i had never seen shapes/objects like the ones on the test). So during my practice tests, i had found a good pace to do the entire section. However, i think in the real test, i took too long on the keyhole and aperture, and i think when i was done with those 2 sections, i only had 33 minutes left! So i had to hurry through the angles (kinda hard), holepunch (this was easier that crack dat), counting cubes (i didn't have time to to the tally cube technique), and pattern folding with the rest of the time left. So i'm really thankful that I still got a 19 given all of this.

For RC, most of the questions had answers straight from the test so all you need to do is look for it. For me, i wrote down 2-3 keywords of each paragraph and that helped a bit when i tried to look for the answers. Though, unlike top score pro, there are some infer/tone type of questions.

And the QR section, the problems weren't that more difficult than the practice tests that i had done (tho there were 2-3 that i had no clue on), but instead the problems took a longer time to solve. So due to this time issue, i had to hurry on a few problems and ended up with a 19 ( on pratice tests, normally got a 21 or 22)

And I just graduated with a B.S. Chem degree with a science GPA of 3.8 and a culmutive GPA of 3.7. And decent amount of extracurriculars and shadowing expereince. So i'm wondering if my scores are borderline (since they aren't 20), and what my chances are of getting interviews. Or do you think should i retake?

Thanks! and let me know if you have any questions!

Nice scores. You don't have anything to worry about with your grades. Could you post your practice test scores?

Nice job! I got a 19AA/19TS too. You did really well for being frapped and still getting a 19 on the RC! Way to be!!

:luck: Good luck with your apps!

congrats!!! I think your scores are very consistent (>18s). I have very similar stats 19/19/19 (with a lower RC though).
