HI,
I took my DAT today.
Here are my score

PA 23 99%
QR 26 99%
RC 16 14.8% 🙁
Bio 22 96.5%
GC 22 92.0%
OC 21 86.7%
TS 22 96.6%
AA 21 92.2%


I just post some parts impressed me.
I am sorry that I can't remember everything..
because I am exhausted..

PAT
The figures are very complicated and tricky!!!
I think they are harder than Kaplan and TOPSCORE
you guys must be more careful!
The hole punch is much harder than anyone i ever practiced.

In fact, I think Kaphan blue book has covered 85%,but I still saw some ecology questions that I had never seen on K Blue or High yield in biology. Others are pretty basic 🙂

I only can remember the are lots of 5 steps questions and some polar-polar, nonpolar- nonpolar solution question.
But I think K blue book is enough if you can memory all stuff on it. I didnot do this part very well because i waste too much time on BIO and general chem. If I have enough time i can do it better.

There are lots calculations!! It cost me a lot of time.
But dont worry they are only basic questions.

The articles are not hard, just because my reading ability is so poor...
But i never got the so low score on my practice.. 😕
By the way, I also saw the comet article!

I am good at math so i think the questions are quiet simple.

I only read the K blue book and high yield in biology.
and do practice test on topscore and K blue book.

The last thing i want to say,
Dont worry guys, the test i took today is the highest score I ever got, even higher than practice test.
You still can get higher grades on DAT than practice tests.
I dont think real DAT is more difficult than practice exams.

ps.I have to take plane back to Taiwan tomorrow.
If anyone has questions about the real tests, I will be happy to answer after I come back to Taiwan.
Sorry for waitting.
But dont ask me about the questions on the test because my poor english memory does not allow me to memorize the questions. (Please note my RC score and you will forgive me...)

If you'd your high school sciences and maths done in one of these countries, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, India, or Malaysia, I would suppose that to be a great possibility. I've seen many students from these Asian countries "tip-top" in these areas. Sorry if I have offended anyone, but you certainly can't deny this hard fact on file. 😛

But, please, dat_student, keep up your good faith and prove me wrong and be a "record breaker". I know you can make it... 😍

I have a good chance. I have got a lot of 29s & 30s on Kaplan's full length math tests & other sample tests. I have a few scores around mid 20s too. So, it's a fair bet. On test day, if the RCT doesn't get into my brain too much I can pull it off. 😉 🙂

I agree with you here. The PAT was real hard, but I got a 23. From other posts in here, this sounds a little suspect.

Unfortunately, I failed.

HI, I just want to encourage you guys!

I think nervous is the horrible thing that always weaken my ability when I am taking test!
Be relax when you are taking the test!
Try to hypnotize yourself that you are in already and going to beat DAT!!
I use the way when I took the test!
I said, I got only 20 when I practiced DAT and K book even I had already tak 🙂 en twice.

DAT is not the easiest standardized tests I ever made.
I study hard and try to get high scores.
But I admit, I took the much harder test before~~
GRE is much harder than DAT for me!!!!!
