so literally just finished my DAT. Still sitting in pro metric testing lobby.

I am really hoping I don't have to retake...

PAT: 21
QR: 18
RC: 22
Bio: 17 (stupid most random questions ever) 🙁
GC: 20
OC: 19
TS: 18
AA: 19

oGPA: 3.7
sGPA: 3.78

Your high GPA will help a lot, it shows the dental schools you are a serious student.. You should get into a dental school with these scores. A lot depends on what schools you are applying to. Your scores are very consistent and dental schools like that.

The Bio section is VERY random indeed! There are many versions of the DAT and no way to tell beforehand what version you will get. You might have plant questions on your DAT or you may not, but you will not know until test day. To obtain a high score it is important you put a lot of effort into know all the areas listed on the ADA website. The mistake I see students make is believe their DAT will be the same as other students.

Wishing you the best!

Your GPA should make up for the (what I would call) average DAT scores. Depending on where you hope to go, these scores could be okay!

That GPA is high, and the DAT scores are perfectly good! Only the BIO was a little low and QR isn't a huge deal. The rest of the scores are on point, so I wouldn't worry about applying this cycle. I'm applying as well and my sGPA is only a 3.61! I think you'll be okay!
