I'm just gonna share my experience with you.
Last year I applied with AA:19 TS:20 PA:19 (And none of my scores were below 18) and GPA: 3.84, sent my application to 9 schools, and only received 2 interviews from UCSF and UCLA. Both schools waitlisted me. Everyone else was kind enough to send me a rejection letter. 😡

I'd say your scores are about average. Your QR score is low by any standard. Again, I didn't score any better on my DAT this year. My QR score was 17. I called up UCLA (my first choice) and their admission coordinator said they've been observing a trend of lower QR scores over the last few years, so they usually don't care about QR as long as it's not too low (11-12). So, if your only reason for a retake is to improve your QR score, I suggest you don't do it.

Your RC score is OK, but not the best out there. So, here's the big question "Is English your 2nd language?"
If yes, that RC score may have some negative impact on your application, because I know they scrutinize the RC score, particularly in case of people who aren't native English speakers.

What's your GPA and where did you complete your undergrad?
Any extra curricular activity?
Which schools are your top choices?

Hey guys, it seems as if getting an AA 20 is really hard. I am not preden. I am prepod and I am taking the DAT (alternative to MCAT) to change my conditional acceptance to fully accepted. HOwever, it seems as if people are having a hard time getting AA 20 and are studying for months. I only have 1 month to prepare for the DAT. Is this even possible scoring an AA20?

sorry, i just realize that I am hijacking ur post. Let me make my own. sorry😀

Great job! I don't think you should retake if its just for QR, try calling the schools your interested in and see what they say. Good luck!

I agree with brightsmiles, I wouldnt retake it just for the QR. A 15 isnt great but you have a good AA and TS. A 20 TS is good! Depending on what your gpa is, I think you'll be in good shape, and like Ive said before, who knows, maybe you decide to re-take the exam to raise your quantitative and you get a lower science but a higher QR, now you're in worse shape. I would ride those scores and I think most admissions would agree. Overall I think you have solid scores, in my opinion.

Good Job. These are some good scores. I wouldn’t retake unless you were really expecting some higher scores.
