hey guys, I am planing to take my DAT end of july for 2010 cycle. you think it is a lil too late or it is a good time. If not when is a good time to take it. I am hoping to pass in first shot.

When do I have to start sending my evalution paper and other documents to AASDAS?

Thank you

I think July and even August are considered "early."
I'm not to sure about that, but I think it depends on what school we are talking about. Some schools will not look at your app until they see those DAT scores.
So if the DAT is taken in July.... add 4 weeks for schools to get scores and your app will be looked at in August. And I think that 2 months after the opening day seems as it could not be described as "early".

depending on if you're ready, do you think a good time to take it is mid may?

Yeah, I think that would be good. Because the cycle now opens June 1st so the scores would be 2 weeks after. This is assuming you have everything else ready to go by then.

When I applied in 07 I took my DAT the first week of august..it was fine, all of my interviews were pre dec. 1st and I even had one the first week of oct. Just send in your app before you DAT scores, then you can fax the unofficial scores over if you are concerned about it being late.
