I was wondering if anyone took the 2009 DAT practice test (available for purchase through ADA) and found it helpful? Also, what other resources are good for full length exams- Achiever or Topscore or other? and how many exams do they include with it?

i'm planning on ordering that test from ada soon. hope it helps.
also, is the free test that they offer on ada.org helpful? i have gone through some problems on that one.

helpful? yes, everything with practice problems is helpful.
Representative? Hell no (strickly referring to the 2007 one ~ the free one), I thought it was too easy.

thanks. which source do you think would be most representative? i have the KBB and have been going through those problems. i have the DAT destroyer and topscore as well.

representative? I don't know. I only did 1 practice test (think got 16 or 17AA) from barrons DAT book. It pissed me off and didn't do any more practice tests (OFC I AM NOT RECOMMENDING YOU DO THIS)... but my point is, all these tests aren't really representative (especially topscore and archiver ~ since they weren't standardized)

Does topscore offer full length exams or just practice problems, or both? if so, how many?

I have heard topscore is quite close to real DAT in level of difficulty...and 2009 ADA practice tests really on the par in terms of difficulty...

IMO you'd want to do more practice tests than just one

I'm torn....Topscore or the 2009 ADA exam?? My DAT is in a week..what do you think I should do?

well... thats up to you lol

But if you order the ADA test, will it arrive in 1 weeks time? I'd get topscore if I was torn between the 2..... But the most logical thing is to get both. Its not like the $30 from ADA test is going to put you in the poor house.

the ADA sample test was okay. i found it useful for everything except the QR section which was INSANE. id never seen math problems like that in any other QR prep materials or even on my real DAT
its good with the rest of the subjects tho. id go for topscore bc topscore u get 3 tests, whereas with the ADA u just get one test & it took a week to get to me even tho i did overnight shipping or something ridiculous
