DAT GC and OC section

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
From what I heard, it does show up. I can't imagine it would take up too many questions. Neither of the DATs that I took had any lab questions on it but I have talked to people who did have some.

They certainly do show up. You should know the basic techniques and you will be fine

Ya but like jmh said, there aren't many of them on there so be smart in your studies!

What do you mean 'basic'? Hope that didn't sound rude or anything, but I just want to ask you how did you even study for lab techs? So far, I just answered questions with my experience in lab but sometimes I get it right, but sometime I don't. So I just wanted to make sure if there is any way to learn or study. It is clearer for OC because there are some important ones, but for GC, at least the qvault questions, it just seems odd to me...

Chad's Videos has a section that covers all you need. If you don't want to buy the whole DAT video set, you can buy individual videos for cheap. That is all I used and I think it would be enough.

He has GC lab tech videos?? I cannot find them....

After taking my DAT, I can confirm lab questions do pop up. Pretty sure I ran into 3 of em. But it's not full on detail. The questions are just minor applications of your understanding. Definitely won't hurt to just skim the details of em (no need to dive in full detail)

Yeah. They show up here and there. Destroyer, Kaplan and Achiever have some good practice questions on them.

Definitely know the basics of all lab techniques but don't go overboard. I didn't get any when I took my DAT but it doesn't mean you wouldn't. Destroyer is a good way to test your knowledge on lab techniques.
