Hi there I have a question, so I was wondering if i am using @tyjacobs notes to study for DAT chem (both orgo and gen) do i really need to watch chad videos? Thanks

If you read his first page of every note package he mentioned to watch Chad videos to refresh your memory. Unless you are fresh out of o-Chem/g-Chem I suggest watching chads videos before going over his notes. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Awesome! Thanks for quick reply. I took gen chem last year and orgo last semester. I'm sure I still remember most of the concepts. Do you know of any resource which quizzes you on gen and orgo chem like chad's video do? I have bootcamp and destroyer but idk if they will be enough.

Why don't you just take the quizzes from Chad's and see how you do? It's free if you sign up on his website. Then you can see if you should watch them. I still recommend watching them since it covers pretty much everything you need (you cover way to much stuff in class); that way you won't be wasting time studying stuff you don't need to worry about. After you've mastered that, supplement the rest of your studying with destroyer and then test yourself with bootcamp.

As others mentioned, you can never go wrong with watching chad's videos. There are shortcuts that he teaches which are essential to know specially for G-chem. I personally never learned these shortcuts during my undergrad g-chem class and I am glad I watched his videos.
