I heard Gen Chem on the DAT is more concepts than calculations. Is this true or is it half and half?

Its true it is mostly conceptual. I would say it is about a 30:70 split. Alot of would be calculations are spared because the DAT will give you answer choices where you just have to set the calculation up but not actually calculate it. i.e. the correct answer will be written as 10*546*78/(34*2)
