Hey guys. I'm prepping for the GRE's and applying to a few reputable master's programs in case I am not accepted anywhere for this dental application year.

I just took a practice exam for the GRE's (via Kaplan and Princeton Review), and found the thing stupidly easy when compared to the DAT. I'm not sure how representative these exams are of the actual GRE, but I'm having doubts about these prep materials.

Have any of you taken both the GRE and DAT, and have any opinions they'd like to drop about the difficulty of the actual GRE exam (aside from the distinct format and grading styles of each) ?

Feel free to toss me a PM if that works better.

Thanks !

So I looked through your previous thread, you got a 26AA and worrying about not getting in 😕🙄🙁😳????

Can I just get 75% of your AA? 😍

wow..dude with a 26AA....i would not even care for the semesters left in my college....and you are thinking about a back up plan.....geez...

I don't think they wanted any subject GRE tests - just the general examination. Good thing I guess.

About the backup plan - trust me, I'd rather not be preparing for another examination while working. But I'm old enough to know that if I fail to have a backup plan, my @ss is grass and life will be the lawnmower.

Yeah the General test is really easy, especially when compared to the DAT. I think the analytical is on par with high-school level (SAT) math. Depending on what type of score you're shooting for, you might want to look into getting a vocab book.
