I am currently going into my senior year and I am taking the DAT in late July. I already feel behind and I'm kicking myself for it. I am an athlete at school and it's hard to find time to study for the DAT when I barely have time to do well in school. Overall I have a 3.1 Science GPA (a little low) and I'm nervous about my upcoming test. I have been studying for the DAT using Crack the DAT but I am not doing well. Does my DAT score automatically get sent out or does it only get sent if I apply? I obviously do not want a low test score being sent if that ends up being the case. I am open to any study suggestions as well. Thanks for the help!

This should answer your question.

DAT Score Information and Audit Request

The Department of Testing Services will report your official scores to centralized application services (i.e., ADEA AADSAS or TMDSAS) when you select a dental school on your DAT application that participates in the corresponding application service. If your DAT application has no dental schools selected, then you have not granted permission to the Department of Testing Services to release your official scores to these centralized application services.

Please retain the unofficial report given to you at the Prometric Test Center; otherwise you must pay for an additional copy.

I spent a lot of money on it so I don't know how much more I can buy. What do you suggest using for studying

Nothing wrong that I am aware of with Crack the DAT, in fact many of my students find it quite helpful. But it is not a good idea to put all your eggs in one basket, best to use several different sources.

Where do you attend school and what is your science GPA?

Take care..Nancy
