So my DAT is in 10 days and I am literally freaking out... I keep scoring around 20-22 for bio on Qvault but for GC and OC around 18-19, CDP 19-20, I think I need words of motivation from people going through the same thing! Any advice on how to improve my scores in 10days? Uh!

Take practice tests as much as possible. Review your mistakes thoroughly and make sure to review the topics you're weak on (especially bio). Have you done Chad's quizzes? If not, I'd seriously take a day to go over them. It's really the best source for OC/GC. How many CDP tests have you done?

Yeah I've been watching and taking chad's quizzes... I do really good on those! I've taken around 3 CDP tests.. It's just that I feel discouraged with those practice scores!

Just remember, in 10 days all of this will be over! Use that as a motivation. Just keep on practicing. I'd suggest taking the rest of the CDP tests every other day and learning from your mistakes.

I just took the DAT on Sunday and to be honest I felt like it was a mix of easy questions with a few hard ones.

The hard questions were miniscule details that you may or may not have gone over, but its going to happen no matter what.

You're doing a little bit better on the practice tests than I was doing so it looks like G. Chem maybe one of your weaker topics. Aside from QR, G. Chem was my worst subject.

My best advice for G. Chem is go over the equations and how to solve certain calculation problems. I didnt go over any G. Chem the day before and once I got to the section my anxiety took over and I blanked out on like 4 calculations. Also go over the roadmaps for O-Chem before the test.

Just keep in mind that these practice tests are typically harder than the real thing. Once you get in there and sit down and start looking at the problems, you will start to realize that the actual test really isnt that bad.

Except for QR, screw QR.

Thank you everyone, I'm going to start 12 hour days! And if I don't feel ready ill just reschedule it to mid August. I would rather do good and take it mid August than do bad and have to retake it in October. I was 1st batch which is a good thing. I'm aiming for hopefully a 21-22 AA. Ill post my breakdown either way!
