I'm scheduled to take the DAT next Monday, the 10th. I have taken 2 bootcamp pratice tests and here are my scores:

Bio GC Orgo Pat RC QR
20 19 17 20 17 19 (DBT Test 2 )
19 20 18 18 18 21 (DBT Test 3 )

I started studying for DAT about 10 days ago. I've finished watching chad's video for orgo and gen chem by now.
I have some major timing issues for Pat and RC. It always takes me about 50 mins to finish the first 2 reading passages (english is not my first language). I was wondering if you guys could give me some suggestions about postponing my test to the first week of September? I e-submitted my AADSAS application on July the 15th.

English is not my first language. Well actually I only speak English for like 4 years now, and I got a 21 on RC. You can do it! Just do some more practice test. Get yourself familiar with the timing, the question types...

If you feel like you're not ready to take the test, there's nothing wrong with postpone it. Take it when you're ready rather than just take it and have to retake.

So I was going to say do not postpone. Until I read that you have only been studying for 10 days. Postpone that test!!! Do you honestly care about being a dentist? You must be one of those gunners just after money.

There are too many other career options I can choose if I am just after money...

10 days is not a lot of time. I would postpone it if I were you, but then again I am not you, and only you truly know yourself and your capabilities. If you feel confident, and this is something your used to then I would say give it a shot, but really make sure you are ready. If you take it and don't feel ready, you'll regret it. Good Luck!

I agree, there are so many professions where you could do the same in less time. This is more than 8 years, a lot of debt and stress before we can even touch that money.
Then again, a lot of people do it for the money...not very smart.

:nono:10 days of DAT studying?!! :nailbiting::nailbiting::nailbiting::nailbiting:

Definitely postpone if I were you, but I'm not.. But then again this IS the biggest test of your life. Give yourself a bit more time, if possible!!

Isn't that hella good for just 10 days of studying?
According to various DAT breakdowns, a lot of test takers get ~1-5 points above their Datbootcamp scores.
