So, I take my DAT in 5 days..yikes! And I wanted an opinion.
I'm not sure if other people seem to have this problem, but my science scores that I get on practice tests fluctuate, sometimes to extremes, each time I take them. I've been getting pretty good PAT (23-25) and QR (21-23).(Thank god I have 2 scores to fall back on). But my Bio has been as low as 14 and as high as 20.. chem is usually 16-19, and orgo jumps around as well, usually because I don't have time to finish-->Unfortunately why I got my all time low of 13 in orgo last week, but I got a 18 this morning with topscore. I feel like it's really all up to the batch of questions I get on test day, which is not a good feeling at all.
So, my question really is if I'm not testing constantly would it be smarter to push it back? Or to just get it over with and study my tush off these next few days on the bio/orgo. I'm scheduled to take it on july 6 since I start summer classes the 7th. I'm not sure if I'm ready or not based on my scores. It's just hard for me to tell. I'm pretty hit or miss. My GPA is 3.5 for both cum. and science, so I feel like I'm pretty average in that respect. Would it be a huge disadvantage of possibly scoring a low bio/orgo, of getting into schools?
Thoughts?
