Hey guys, I'm taking the DAT next tuesday, I was wondering with everyones experience, did you find bootcamp and chads quizzes to be sufficient materials to prepare for GC and OC? Also I am using Feralis Notes and Barons for the BIO part. What are your suggestions for the PAT other than bootcamp? Should I be using another source for the PAT? I have been studying for quite some time now, but I can't help but to freak out it feels as if the information just leaves me when I take practice tests even though I believe I know it and answer confidently?

I know what you mean my DAT is in 10 days and I'm freaking out too lol. But if you've completed and reviewed chads+ BC then i think you should be fine. The best thing to do would probably be to brush up on your weak points.

What I think I am going to do is just take practice tests like every single day until next monday because my dat is on tuesday

That's good to do that. Definitely make sure you review stuff that you may be weak in or review your notes to reinforce and remember it come time for the exam. Getting a few more questions right can definitely make a difference in a score for a section, so make sure you review material you may be weak in.

i reviewed the concepts i was consistantly getting wrong through my studying. The entire week before I spent doing bootcamp tests, simulating the real tests, i would open the new section in a new browser tab then wait till the end of the "test" to go through all the questions. I think that helped me a lot to get used to the timing of the real test.... download the outlines from chads OC, the list of reactions is great to keep looking over the week before the exam. Most importantly, don't end up getting flustered thinking about how much you don't know before the exam, think about how much you DO know! I made that mistake and spent the whole day before my DAT having panic attacks.

Another question for those of you that have taken the DAT already. Have any of you retaken or deferred your scores? I just want to know the process of this, just in case and wanted to know how long you studied after you took it once before to improve your scores or what not. It's not that I'm not optimistic or confident, It's just better to hear input on things in my opinion to have all of my bases covered!

Chad quizzes are great on the calculating portion, but DAT bootcamp is great on illustrating concept questions and those random GenChem lab questions. You sound confident on biology so do whatever worked for you in undergrad to do well on exams.

For the PAT I used CrackPat and Dat Bootcamp which helped a lot. I was also lame and would get paper and punch holes in it like the exam. I would also think of objects and what their TFE projection would be. But practice is key; never stop practicing.

Also best of luck to you friend!
