Hello,

I am planning to take DAT as soon as possible and need frank suggestion! I have only one month to prepare for this exam is this time sufficient to score good marks?

The question is, did you start studying for it?
Even if you didn't start yet, it's possible to score well on the DAT by studying really hard for a month. There were plenty of SDNers who have studied for 4 weeks and scored way above average.
However, it's STRONGLY recommended that you put more time into studying for DAT, because you will want to do well on the first one.
I'm taking mine on the 26th of June, which should be around the same date as your prospective date.
If you really need to take the DAT in a month, I would say study EXTREMELY hard everyday. Just follow the sample DAT study schedule posted by other people in SDN, and pretty much double/triple/quadruple the scheduled amount. For example, if someone recommended doing 30 DAT destroyer problems a day, try to do 60 or 120 a day (120 sounds like hell though).
Just use good resources and use your time efficiently.
I'd recommend Chad's videos, DAT destroyer, CDP, Topscore, Cliff's AP Bio for starters.
If you have more time, you can incorporate Achiever, Schaum's Bio, and whatever else you can fit in.

Good luck!

If you're going for a 21+ AA, then I would suggest that you work extremely hard in that month's time. The difference between 21-22, or even 22-23 AA is a matter of a few questions, so in order to score higher section scores, you have to aim for getting every question right. Using dentalWork's DAT guide as a starting point, I would say that in order to do very well you need to study about 4x as much as he suggests, similar to what the previous person posted. Personally, I studied for the DAT for 7.5 weeks, with about 9 hours of studying a day.

Don't rush into taking the DAT and end up scoring not as high as you want to. Really put serious thought into your study schedule and do what works best for you. 👍

Bottom line though, it is very possible to study for the DAT in only a month's timespan, you just have to be very disciplined. But it seems like you already are because you are already looking through SDN! Best of luck to you!

I wouldn't take it with one month of review. That's just me though, it ultimately comes down to you. Can you prepare adequately in a month? Do you have a good grasp of Gen Chem, Organic, and Biology? I've seen a person review for 2 weeks and do great on his OAT and I've seen people rush to take the PCAT and not do so well.
