Has anybody ever taken the DAT in the Austin prometric center? How about Waco? Has anybody ever taken the DAT in over Central Texas locations that you would have some insight on?

Thanks for any feedback.

I took my DAT at the Prometric Center in Austin (Ben White towards the airport).

Here is the deal.

1). It is a nice facility and the people are really nice.
2). The monitors are 17" and pretty clear. No problems with the PAT except that it is a pain.
3). As many pencils and as much paper as you want. They will take away your scratch paper when you ask for a new booklet.
4). They let you start early if you want.
5). They are fast to react when you raise your hand.
6). They have a water cooler in the lobby.
7) They make you put your jacket in the locker unless you plan on wearing it throughout the test.
8) They allow you to take in wallets, etc, as long as they stay permanently in your pockets.
9) There are a lot of people coming and going which can be distracting.
10) You get a pair of ear phones, but they are not noise cancelling so you can still hear things around you.
11) You will be really nervous when you hit the "enter" key to see your scores.

hmmm....if it's by the airport you can probably head to the landing strip for a drink afterwards ;-) (well, if your a guy that is)

I might add that they have free coffee in the lobby which was EXACTLY what I needed after sleeping all of 3 hrs the night before. Everything was really professional and I totally agree with number 11!
