DAT in two weeks, any last minute advice

I take the DAT in two weeks. I have been using Kaplan. Anyone think i need to study anything else last minute? If you have taken the DAT, Can you give me some detailed advice about it. Calculator used etc. If they are focusing on anything specific?

If Kaplan is the ONLY thing you studied up to this point and if you think you have a REALLY strong foundation in science topics then you should be fine......if you're not so great with science and you did not retain much info while taking those courses in undergrad....I would advise you to postpone your DAT and get DAT destroyer.

im in the same situation

for destroyer would you recommend learning the missing material your not solid on as you go, or independently studying from a book?

The Kaplan tests are MUCH easier than the real deal. Specifically the PAT and Biology sections. If all you studied was Kaplan, you are going to be missing plant, genetic, ecology, etc. That being said, I took the DAT twice and no amount of studying prepared me for the science section. You either learned it in college or you didn't.

If you can get PAT questions other than Kaplans, I would practice them on the computer. The resolution plays tricks with your mind when trying to judge angles (I swear most of them were exactly the same).

Lastly, good luck. It is exhausting, but you get your scores instantly. 😀

In the 48 hours before my DAT I went through the bio section of Destroyer and, when I got to my exam, I felt like I was rereading the destroyer! The book hit it spot on... if there was one thing I'd tell you to do this week it would be get your hands on that book and (if nothing else) memorize everything in the bio section.

i have destroyer kaplan and CDM to choose from

but i can only do one ish (my math is very weak and ive been pushing it off. - whats the fastest way to learn (besides a friend going through it with you)

Bwhahaahahaha, the math section? Don't worry about it, just try to finish. I don't know anyone who has finished. It's the most rediculous bs you'll ever see.

I got a 13 and I was accepted to 2 schools.

Yeah, I wish I had the destroyer. I've heard similar stories. I felt that Kaplan was a waste of money.
