So I started studying mid May after spring semester, dropped out of Summer school and had the DAT on July 3rd. I was NOT prepared.. dropped out of Summer II, came back to campus and lived on my own just studying for the past month.

PAT: I used CDP and did 9 of the tests. (Scores: 21, 20, 19, 20, 20, 23, 21, 22.. I did test 3 in parts so no score) I thought keyholes and TFE were a little tricker. Hole punching and cubes were way easier. Angles were almost the same.. it wasn't hard to find the largest and the smallest.. but difficult in-between. Pattern folding had less shading.. sort of easier. I finished right on the dot ( 2 secs left!)
QR: Did all of Math destroyer.. helped a lot in my timing. I just learnt to guess and MOVE on if you can't figure it out. I marked like 6 and had 5 mins left to go through some at the end. I memorized conversions.. most were given but not all.
RC: Well that was a surprise. I did no prep besides Achiever 1, 2 and 3.. and Kaplan tests i guess that I took like last december when I did the course. Not method.. just read the passage and convince your self that its interesting and you will remember details. I never liked Search and Destroy.
BIO: DAT Destroyer, Kaplan Online Workshops, Campbells, Cliff's, Alan's Notes, Thinkwell videos.
I read through Cliffs 3 times, and about half of Campbell's.. skipped all the chapters on Ecology and Plants cuz i hateee plants. Did Destroyer once but did not take notes or do over as I realized all the important points from Destroyer and Cliffs were summarized in Alan's notes.. which I read once. I though Kaplan was great for hormones. The Thinkwell videos helped a lot since I did not have any classes on reproduction or taxonomy.. watched about 30, on select topics. I can't even remember what was on my exam.. some questions I never saw anywhere before so I used like deductive reasoning. No genetics 👍 (I am biochem major and have grown to HATE DNA)
GC: Chad's Videos, DAT destroyer.
I never took GC in college so Chad was more than amazing. He explained everything and most of my questions I was familiar with. Maybe just mixed up some calculations. I did Destroyer about 2 weeks ago but couldn't bring myself to do it over. I helped but DAT was much simpler.
OC: College Textbook, Organic Odyssey, Chad's Videos, DAT Destroyer.
I got a C and B in my college classes so I was most panicked about orgo. I spent a month! reading all 1000 pages of my text book, doing odyssey and watching Chad's Videos. This was the reason I had to reschedule. I could prioritize at the beginning. Did destroyer once and a second time went over my mistakes and made flashcards. I photocopied/ white-out the roadmaps and did them, but orgo was much easier. This is not to say dont do destroyer or anything.. maybe I just thought so cuz I got so accustomed to it.
I'm international (From Trinidad) and I reallllly want to go to NOVA. BUT my science GPA is 3.5 (w +/_... 3.4 w/o) and overall is 3.66 (w/o is 3.61)
Any thoughts? I really hope being international doesn't interfere with my chances 🙁
