AHHHH I'M SO FREAKING OUT!!!!!!!!

Anyway, I am about to start doing practice tests (Achiever, in case anyone is wondering?), and I want to get things as close to the actual test as possible. I just have a few questions about how the test is actually carried out.

So I do this thing for PAT where I draw out grids for hole punching, write down ABCDE, etc. Can I do this during the 15 minute tutorial at the beginning? Or can I do it in between the science section and the PAT section? (ie, does PAT starts immediately after science or can I take a couple minutes of break in between?)

I'm also wondering about the periodic table. On the DAT qVault tests, the periodic table is minimal with only the elements and atomic number. Will we be given a more detailed periodic table on the DAT? (atomic weight would be helpful...)

And are we given a calculator only for the QR section or do we have it for gen chem as well?

Thanks 🙂

You can do your stuff during the 15 minute tutorial. The PAT section will immediately start right after the science section. Atomic weight will be given on the periodic table. Calculator is QR section only. Good luck!

Make the diagrams between Sciences and PAT or the "Tutorial" before you start. I made my things during the tutorial because I knew I wasn't going to use all 4 sides of the papers for science. I made 15 4x4 matrices for the hole punching and 6 tables for cube counting. In the end, I used less than 1 page for the sciences and didn't use any of the hole punch matrices...just the cube counting tables!

I just finished an Achiever test (and died a little inside...), and I have more questions. XDD

In Achiever, you can cross out a choice by clicking on it. Does the real DAT have that too? Also, for RC, every time you go to the next question, the passage jumps back to the beginning. Is it like that on the real test? I'm asking b/c in Crack the DAT Reading, the passage would stay at the same place. It's just annoying that I have to scroll down every time.

Finally, I just want to rant a little... I know Achiever is supposed to be hard, but MAN IT IS HAAARRRDDD. PAT and RC totally beat me. I consistently get pretty good scores on CDP and CDR, but I couldn't even finish those two sections in time. Please tell me the real thing is not going to be this hard or I think I'm gonna cry. T_T

Hmm, one more thing. When I was doing the test, the Achiever kept freezing on me when the next question had a lot of pictures. And even after freezing for 30s, sometime it would fail to load so I have to go back to the previous question and let it load again. It happened about 3-4 times every section (excluding RC, of course). Does anyone else have this problem? And probably more importantly, will the real test have this problem?!?!?!
