I am taking a test at the end of May and was looking for some insights on how I should study.

For about a month, I have been reading/reviewing the full science sections of Kaplan 2007 Book for about 3 times I think (5 for Bio) and taking practice exams in the book.

Yeah, I am pretty sick of reading them now even though I think I can for about three more times.

Now, I am thinking about solving the questions for two months until the test date. I heared a lot about dat achiever, destroyer, and topscore pro.

What I want is tons of questions for me to work on for upcoming two months. I heard that there are 3 full practice exams for dat achiever, topscore and destroyer. Is 3 full practice exams the only thing they have or is there more questions besides these exams?

Do you guys think I will have plenty of questions for me to work on for two months if I have all three?

Also, do you think my plan (studying science sections for one months and working on questions for two months + some reviewing) will work?

One more thing, I especially need a lot of reading practice since English is my second language. Is there many reading sections in achiever, topscore and destroyer?

Perhaps you guys can recommend different prep materials for me.

Any advice will be helpful. Thank you.

It depends on how you want to study. You have many options at hand.
Practice tests can only get you so far and don't really test if you know enough, but they are good to prepare you for actually getting a feel for the test.

It seems that you have a lot of content under your belt and if want to do questions and prepare yourself thoroughly I'd recommend Destroyer for sure. A lot of guys will say the same thing I think. It'll test your knowledge on a wide range of topics, and more importantly it'll teach you.

I also def think you should get one of the acheiver or topscore, just to practice with the format and get used to it come test day. People here have different opinions on which one to use. Orgodox has great feedback on both of them in his DAT post. I'll find the link for ya.

And all three will definitely be enough, but i think the destroyer plus one of the two will be more than enough. The new destroyer has like 250 questions on average per section (I believe 2-something orgo, 3-something chem and bio actually... dont have the book in front of me)

As for reading, it's been my big concern as well. Destroyer doesnt have reading or pat however, but it makes up for it with all the other sections. Topscore and Acheiver have a total of 6 RC sections, so you can judge how you do if you take them all. I don't know how else to prepare for the RC. People recommend reading science journals, but I dont know if thats actually realistic. See how you do on Topscore or Acheiver maybe and see if you need more help on that. Most ppl just wing that section it seems

Thank you.

Destroyer it is + I'll find out later.

So Destroyer has only questions but plenty of them + lots of explanations?

That was what I was looking for.

So let us know what you decide and how you like it.
I'm studying using destroyer, acheiver and topscore now btw

Well, I just ordered destroyer from their website.

Better study hard for 170 dollars I spent on this....🙁;

Well, better than spending 1000 for kaplan I guess

In terms of studying I would go with your text books for topics you need work on.
If your looking for a lot of questions get the destroyer, it is full of questions with detailed explanations.
Good luck studying.

Here are some tips that i employ when it comes to studying for the dat. When it comes to the bio section i would look at cliffs bio to touch up on all the bio that you dont know. With regard to gen chen and orgo i would look through old text books to cover the material that you are not comfortable with. After doing this i would make my way through the destroyer. If you go straight to the destroyer you will get lost because it is not a teaching book. If you have a good foundation then go through the destroyer which will cover just about all different types of questions that you might see on the dat.
