There are a couple of questions like this I get all of them right but this one...

There are 24 musicians in the Northern Orchestra and 35 musicians int he Southern Orchestra. If there are exactly 10 musicians that play in both orchestra, how many musicians play in only one of these orchestra?

I usually do 24+35-10=49
but the answer in the destroyer is: 24-10=14 35-10=25 14+25=39....

Got the 2011 math destroyer, I have to say there are couple of mistakes in there....

Answer in destroyer is right.

The way you did it gives the total number of musicians (those that play in one AND those that play in both)

I see, the problems I did before probably asked differently. Need to go back and check, thanks~

yeah, there's a handful of different questions you can ask with these types of problems but if you can picture the venn diagram and fill it with the right numbers, they're all cake.
