what is Cube root of 1004 squared?

its was on the DAT and i dont know how to solve it...

cube root of 1004 can be written as 1004^(1/3)...no tricks to it.

since 1004 itself is squared you can take the 2 out so it becomes to the power of 2/3....it's kinda hard to show the signs on the net but it's something you should be realy familiar with if you took precalc/calc
