Hi, I'm a Canadian taking the American DAT for the first time in October and I was wondering what the Trigonometry section the DAT was like. I am just going over the KBB Trig section and the sample questions are making me do arctan calculations!
I doubt the calculator on the DAT is that highly functional...what are your experiences with this? Do they really make you somehow estimate an angle using an arcsin/cos/tan calculation?

Thanks in advance!

When I took the DAT, I had one question where you had to use the sides to backsolve the angle. But the numbers are set up for you, so just know the concept of sin/cos/tan.
Also, I agree with 2PacClone23, I had a few questions where the circle came in handy too.

Sets up there are there for you; they wouldn't necessarily make you "estimate" numbers.

Math Destroyer first page is enough for trig along with knowing the unit circle.
