Hey i was wondering if i could get your opinion on a few things. I am out of those kaplan online exams so i took to sample one from ada website.
bio-30 out of 40
gc-16 out of 30
oc-25 out of 30
pat-80 out of 90
rc-12 out of 17 there was only one passage though
qr-23 out of 40

i know that the gc is low, do you all think i should can slow down on the bio and oc, and pick up the rc, qr, and obviously gc or is that sample test a misrepresentation of the dat.

In my opinion, the ADA science part is really easy. i dont know how it compares to the actual DAT though since i haven't taken it. I think it took me like 45-50 minutes to answer the science part. But it seems like you missed quite a bit of questions in the sciences?

yeah, my gc is weak. I havent messed with that for 3 years. I probably spent about and hour and ten on the sciences. On the online exams that i was taking i was getting anywhere from 29 to 32 right. Maybe i should do some more reviewing over the sciences.

You should take some more practice exams to see if you are ready or not, 10 off the bio is quite a bit...

Make sure you are ready, I made a mistake last year taking it when I wasn't ready, look at me now, I spent all August studying for my retake. 👎

That is what i was thinking, the only thing holding me back from moving it back is this semester started, biochem, immunology, physics , quant anlys. plus i work as a dental assistant T TR. I need to get it in now so i can continue with the semester instead of having the DAT linger above me, but i only want to put myself through this once. So im not sure.

tough choice but if you are getting on avg. 17-18 on the practice exams, your scores will not jump up to 20s. That's almost guaranteed.

You might get lucky and pull 19s, but I'm not sure if those scores are good enough to get you in this cycle, which is why I am retaking my dat.

yea.. like TeamGuo said you might get lucky and pull 19's but the ADA one is definitely way easier than the real thing in the academics.. waaaaaaaay easier... the real one makes you think a lot more.
for 20's you really need to know your stuff...

1 Piece of advice.. don't listen to Rihanna's Disturbia before your test. It was stuck in my mind all throughout the Natural Sciences and PAT.. I was so bitter.

I read over my own notes. I did all of the reading (hopefully) so I am just focusing on things that I usually miss off of my notes.

oh and I took the last crack pat just now.

I am freaking anxious and nervous at the same time.

Ya im going to do it. I am anxious as well. i hope i dont choke, I feel that i should to get the nerves out. I have never taken any test like this, so i want to see what its like. If i am weak in an area or two then i still have time to correct it while im enrolled. that should be something that can be fixed over a semester, and for sure by next summer. I want to go the OU and the bar is not set as high for them as for others. Good luck.
