My AADSAS printout is already mailed, but I have not taken the DATs yet. If I take the DAT on August 2nd, will I still be in the first batch of interviews? Thanks

Alex

that is sort of my question too. also for those who are applying to UMKC ; I have heard that they stop interviewing after november. Is that true? I'm also taking the DAT in early August.

August is absolutely fine. Just make sure that you study hard so you don't have to take it twice, haha.

My application has been sent out too. But I don't have any LOR's yet, and havn't taken the DAT. I'm scheduled to take it first week of September. What do you think about my case?

Aug too late?

No way, I took my DAT's Jan 21 during my application cycle and interviewed Feb 14th and was accepted 2 weeks after that. Now I am a 3rd year student 🙂.

The problem is that I wouldn't do that these days, Nova fills their classes early and only leaves a couple of spots for later. August will be fine, however, just don't wait until Jan!

Each state/school is different. I was told last year that September 1 was too late to apply for the Texas schools. In Texas they have 2 rounds, 1st and 2nd. By not having my app (DAT) in by the end of August I missed the 1st round. 99% of the class comes from the first rounds according to the Baylor Admissions people. The second round is just to catch a few "above average" apps that missed the cut... But this applies only to Texas.

I'm glad that I saw this post. I was planning on taking the DAT in September to apply for Texas schools. I guess I'll bump it up to the last week of August.
