Hi guys, I am so nervous for the DAT. IDK I feel like I am behind. I finished DAT destroyer for chemistry. I have not started BIO / organic chem (destroyer). I plan on doing 100 bio questions a day and 50 organic chem questions a day. I finished Mike's OC vids and BIO cliff notes. Would studying the 500+ bio questions on destroyer be sufficient for the DAT bio section? How do I tackle the organic chemistry destroyer section? I skimmed a few problems and felt discouraged after looking at them even though I finished Mike's OC vids. Anyone have suggestions?

The DAT is VERY challenging and so is the DAT Destroyer, if you want to score 20 plus complete ALL the work. Don't be discouraged, keep going, best to discover weakness now rather than on test day. There are over 600 problems in the Bio section, do them all, know all the correct choices as well as incorrect, review the information in the solutions. As has been stated many times on this forum there are many versions of the DAT, you have to prepare for them all.

Don't use the Destroyer for any timing, take your time, it is for learning. All the time in the world will not help you on test day if you are presented questions you can't answer.

Keep going, it will get easier.

Feel free to message me.

Also helps to have a weekly study schedule to follow as opposed to waking up each day looking at what you have left to learn for the ginormous DAT. Once you set that up, if you don't have enough time for the score you want I suggest postponing your test. Take a full length bootcamp practice exam to project what you'd score right now.

So far, I have finished my full bio overview. Chem destroyer is done (50 questions left). Going to do 50 orgo questions a day. I have done 6 math destroyer tests.

What did your overview consist of, is what I'm mostly wondering here. Textbooks? Review books? Other resources? I'm assuming you did something prior to Destroyer, no?

Before destroyer for Biology I used cliff notes, for General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Math I used Chad and Mike's videos. For PAT I am using the bootcamp.

3.5 science GPA and Pace University. 3.65 overall GPA
Excellent GPA, with 20's on the DAT you should have opportunity at many schools. You are a very strong candidate, now you need to Destroy the DAT. Remember the Destroyer prepares you for whatever comes you way and helps to avoid a retake. In your last days of study I would focus on areas of weakness and not waste a lot of time on testing. I would take the 2009 at least 10 days before test day, you can flush out any areas of weakness..

Wishing you the best..

Thank you! I just finished Chemistry Destroyer section. I know my weak areas from it. Do you recommend I do the problems over to build the concepts in my head? I will be doing 100 biology questions and 50 organic chemistry questions a day. Is the biology on the DAT destroyer all I need to know to fulfill the little details?

Yes do them over if you have time..Our Bio is by far the best on the market and

Yes do what it takes to feel comfortable with the level of work in the Destroyer, it is for students who really want to score high, think 30!

Ferralis who got a 30 in Bio, below is what he wrote in his own words..Although I can't say I think the DAT Bio is simple..

"Bio (30): Very simple, and this isn't even because of how well I knew my notes. It was just a basic, generalized test that didn't focus too much on specific details. If someone erased my memory of all biology knowledge and then had me read Cliff's the night before and made sure I knew everything in Destroyer, I'd probably still have gotten a 30."
