The Wop
Hey everyone, it's a shame I didn't stumble upon this board earlier! It's awesome that so many motivated pre-dents are on here sharing advice and experience.
I'm taking the DAT on Wednesday (6-21) and hopefully finish up my AADSAS shortly after that. I'll admit I'm slightly intimidated by the scores that most people post on here, 20+ is awesome. Thus far I have taken 2 legitimate practice tests.
The first I took about 1.5 weeks ago. It was the Kaplan practice test on CD that came with the book. Before I took the test I studied everything in the book once over, then I just took a stab at the test. I scored 18AA, 20PA. Not bad considering I didn't study thoroughly and I blatantly guessed on a number of gen chem, pattern folding, reading comp, and quant (time was a factor).
Then I went back and reviewed everything. Yesterday I took the ADA practice test. Personally I thought the test was easy. I scored 20AA, 23PA.
Then I stumbled upon this board. I wish I knew about DAT Achiever and Topscore earlier! I only have one practice test left, the one on Kaplan's website.
My questions are:
Are those 3 practice tests good indicators of how I'll do on the DAT?
What should I focus on now? Take my last practice test then just study everything over again?
Any other free-practice tests I can find online?
I really want to get a 20+ on both sections. I have a 3.55 non-sci GPA and a 3.215 sci GPA at a top 20 university.
Schools I'm looking at: Michigan, Detroit Mercy, Marquette, BU, Tufts, Nova, Case, Temple, Pitt
ANY ADVICE is much appreciated!
