DAT pre-test score

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
you're looking at the whole thing wrong...
Practice tests aint there to show what you get on the DAT
Rather just practice for the DAT

thats what i original thought...but some people said you get +-1-2 of what you get on the practice tests

you will soon realize that alot of people say alot of different things...
if you wanna go by peoples words sh***s gonna hit the fan

If it was achiever, you may end up getting 2~3 points higher on real thing. (I didn't use the achiever, but it seems like it is much harder than the real test.)

If it was topscore, +/- 1~2 points sounds reasonable.

It really depends. I dont think you can say for certain. Most would agree Top Score and Achiever are harder than the real thing, but I really think it depends on the questions you get wrong. For instance, Top Score biology is filled with Plants and Taxonomy type questions, and I dont think you will see more than a few questions on those. Also, Achiever and Topscore go way overboard with calculations on Gchem.

Basically, dont worry too much about your scores. Learn from your mistakes by reviewing the questions you got wrong, and use the practice test to guage your weak areas.

I think that the PAT on achiever is alot harder than topscore...what is the real PAT on the actual DAT like?
