Alright so I'm takin the DAT in November and i have slowly started to freak out.
I just bought the DAT Destroyer but some of other students have told me to buy other
things and these things are PRICEY.
I plan to get Crack DAT PAT for PAT and for Bio, I plan to use the Cliff AP Bio book as well as the Kaplan Blue Book (well, KBB for everything).

Then I heard Qvault and Chad's videos are good. What exactly are these? Should I get these?
Also, for organic chemistry, I plan to buy org. chem as a second language.

Any thoughts on these and any suggestions please??? I'd really appreciate it if you guys could include what you used and how you ended up doing on the DAT!

Thank you so much and I wish you all the very best of luck!

KBB- If money is tight get a cheap used version. I honestly didn't think it was that great
CDP - Yes, worth it even with the price tag set pretty high.
Qvault - Online service though I am not too familiar with it.

Lastly..... Chad's Videos - Apparently the best prep you can do for chem. I didn't use these because I personally only needed to do practice questions so I bought some MCAT 1001 Chem books and did some 2000+ practice problems. If you need a brush up you can use many of the free lectures available online (Berkeley has them, MIT has them and pretty much every big university has free access to their lectures!). Chad's lectures are more directed towards DAT chem and he is apparently an amazing teacher so its up to you if you want to spend money. (***********.com)

As for ideas for more things to use, you can always check people's DAT breakdowns. Many people list the things they used, as well as strategies on how to use the things they did. My breakdown is not too good for this since its a bit disorganized but there are many better ones out there. Good luck!

Hi
I was confused about DAT prep since i am a foreign trained dentist. NYU made it eligibility for us too. I am so much thankful that i m telling about it to all
I found a very good online tutor .....her teaching is very good plus she send assignments to practice every day ....that kept me on track ..
also i m foreign dentist so i did not know what books to follow .....believe me i got no books at all and i did not have to do anything other than the course ....just 1 month and i was done and luckily i scored very well
u can also contact the same tutor for help.....i dont think they have any webpage or something i was referred by a friend who also took the course.... but i do have email ...it is [email protected]
What all resources u guys have written I dont even know about these .....the course really saved me ...such a relief
Its really worth doing!!!!
good luck everyone
