Ok, so today I have come to the realization that I am going to really have to try hard to do well on the DAT. Some of you are saying, "ya, isn't that obvious?" I would be saying the same thing if I was reading this.

My problem is, it has been quite a while since I have had bio, QR, or gchem. I have already read and taken tests for bio and did average. I recently started doing the problems for gchem...and I am getting my butt kicked! I don't recall gchem being this difficult. I know the same thing will happen for QR and ochem...even though I just finished ochem.

I guess I am just looking for some solid advice to help me out. Do I take the Kaplan online course to help me out...? I tend to do better if I have can watch someone else do the problems and then I replicate them...is that what the Kaplan online course is all about? I am just clueless...ARGGGG😡

Thanks for letting me vent!

What are you using to study right now? Do you have a DAT guide book like kaplan to help you or are you trying to use your old text books. If you don't already have it, get the kaplan book to start. As far as a class course, if you learn best from watching some one else do things, then yes, sign up for the kapaln classroom or online course. It is expensive, but if that is the way you learn then it will probably be worth it. With the online class you have a bunch of lectures that you watch on video online and they go along with homework assignments they give you. You also get a couple of DAT books, a set of flashcards and also some practice tests. However, you'll save a thousand bucks if you are able to learn the material on your own from books like kaplan and dat destroyer.

I have the Kaplan blue book, Destroyer, Top Score and Achiever. I just really feel overwhelmed...obviously, thats a lot of info to cover. I might talk with my wife about the online kap course...although I just broke the news about supplementals....to 21 schools 😳

Thanks for the help!
