yeah, I don't know if I got lucky to have gotten through DAT without reading breakdowns much, but if you do look at breakdowns, you pretty get an idea how and what people studied and find the ultimate combination for youself.

For starters, get a set of destroyer books (science + math, around $200), and for your chillaxing nights and evening, get a subscription to Chad's videos. That will be a good start I believe. And to fill in the knowledge holes, get barron's AP bio or cliff's AP bio for biology section. Read science articles daily if you can to increase your reading speed. That should be a good start I think

Good luck sir! Nice GPA!

Thank you so much for the advice! I'm thinking of buying books and studying on my own so I have time to shadow as well.

This might sound really stupid, but who/what is Chad? Is it a person on youtube, or like a company with videos? I really appreciate your help 🙂

Mainly used for general/organic chemistry, might find use in the others if you have time.

You might want to try Organic chemistry y as a second language, Destroyer, Odyssey and Schaums outlines. They really help you to train yourself how to answer questions.

I'd set aside about 500 bucks and buy what you need to prepare. It's expensive, but the scores are well worth it... and that amount of money is still a LOT less than Kaplan!

Regarding your last comment... I don't really see Schaum's all that much on here. 🙂 Barron's AP Bio and Cliff's AP Bio tend to get most of the biology love, supplemented by the Destroyer. I'm sure Schaum's is good, though! The others are just a bit more widely used.
