Hi everyone,

Can someone tell me how realistic and similar qvault questions are to the real DAT? I just took my first chem exam and got 23/30, which translates to a 20. Obviously I am shooting for much higher than that, but how realistic and indicative would you say qvault is?

Thanks

Looking back on my scores, I didn't think datQvault was very useful as a gauge of how I would do on the real thing. My bio practice scores ranged from 18-22 but I scored a 23 on the actual test. My ochem practice scores ranged from 18-24 and I got a 24 on the real thing. My gen chem practice scores ranged from 20-29 and I got a 28 on the actual test. My scores for the QR section ranged from 26-27 but I got a 24 on the actual test. My main point is to not get too caught up on the numbers and use it more as an indicator of what topics you need to focus on studying. Hope this helps somewhat!

I only took the free test for GCHEM and I got 18 on it. I got a 20 on my real test. I don't recommend gauging your score through practice tests.

i didnt take the test yet but it seems that both OC and GC have too many lab technique questions (especially GC). Also, I did math destroyer once so far (just started my second round) and it seems that qvault is on par with Math Destroyer exceot the questions are worded easier...but the question types are the same. Have you guys noticed that?

I hope the chemistries are close, I've been doing pretty well on them :-/
