Hey everyone,

I've read tons of threads on qvault for bio, but has anyone used it to study for the gchem or orgo sections? I've been using it and it's good but I'm not sure if it's accurate or not, and so it's worrying me...is it too easy, or is it about right? Thanks so much in advance! Good luck to all studying 🙂

Anyone that took the DAT and DATqVault can chime in?

I used datqvault last year and the questions were harder than the real DAT. I believe that you take your datqvault score and add 2 or 3 extra points to get to your real bio score. I remember having averages of 17 on the vault and I got a 19 on the real bio section. I liked the questions because they were the most relevant form of bio practice that I got. I thought Destroyer questions were only useful for creating and memorizing facts, they weren't good "exam like" problems." If I had to do it again I would def use datqvault about 2 to 4 weeks before the real exam.

I would also stick with what I did which is to fully review and cram using flash cards as many Bio facts as possible about a month before the exam. The bio section is a wildcard and a lot of random facts can be asked. With that said, I felt it was the most straightforward section because you either knew the answer or you didnt.

Thanks so much for answering! I realize that bio is supposedly a really good gauge of your true score, but do you know about gen chem/orgo section? Thanks so much! 🙂

GC and Orgo is best learned through Chad's, the Dat DESTROYER and through Achiever. If you can master those 3, then you'll easily get a 20 on each section.
