This is my DAT scores. I know my GPA is low and I could have done better with my OC. Should I take it again?

2nd Time scores. 3/10/2012
AA - 19
PA - 20
QR - 19
RC - 19
B - 20
GC- 19
OC - 17
TS - 19

GPA - 3.41 (cal by TMDSAS)
Science - 3.20

I think it depends on where you plan on sending applications. Those numbers sound to be about what it takes to get looks, from what I've heard, but it wouldn't hurt to call up the schools and have a talk with admissions. If I were you I'd focus on my gpa as hard as I could (currently what I'm doing).

Good scores though, don't sweat too much.

Were your first time scores lower than these? If your scores went up then you really don't need a re-take. The 17 in OC is the only sore point but everything else is pretty good! You got 19s and 20s in PAT RC and Bio which are the most important so good job!

If you're shooting for top tier schools then you know you have to retake. If your choices are within your range GPA and DAT wise then you're fine. Here is a handy page you can use to calculate this:

All credit to doc toothache but it puts into perspective whether or not your GPA/DAT combo is close to the schools you want to apply to.

You can try and sending it in. You can make it if your GPA is high enough. However, I would send the applications and study for a retake meanwhile. This cannot hurt and will benefit you if you are waitlisted or something.
