when filling out the application to become eligible to register for the DAT, is it necessary to select 5 schools to receive official scoring transcripts? I'm asking because I will be applying to schools this spring/summer but i'm not sure what schools i am applying to yet. Can anybody give me some advice or has anyone been in a similar situation? thanks

i think they require you to pick 5 schools...if ur not sure yet...just pick 5 that are your top choices or that you think you might be likely to apply. the only bad part is once you pick those schools...you can't change it. and if you apply to other schools or more than those 5...you have to send in your "official" scores separately...which might cost a bit extra

So the registration says first 5 are obviously included, and then $25 for each additional school. If I am not sure about the additional schools and I leave it blank, will it cost more (more than the $25 per/school) to send out score reports later? How much more?

Thanks!

youre not required to pick 5 schools ... the first 5 are however free so it might be a good financial decision to put 5 schools that youre thinking about applying to so you dont have to pay $25 a piece later. After the 5 free schools its going to cost $25 per school ... leaving it blank or otherwise.

since we are talkin abt DAT registration...my question is totally off topic but here it is: I just took my DATs, and im not too happy with it. I know i cant take it for another 3 months...but do i have to wait for those 3 months to even register? As in, will i not even be eligible to register for a date after those 3 months? please let me know...thanks

As far as know the registration process is to make sure you are eligible... i.e. its been 3 months since you last took the DAT, you haven't already taken it 3 times, etc. anyone else have a definite answer?
