I am currently signing up for the DAT. I am on the page regarding payment, however, I was never presented with a page for me to choose the testing location and date. Is this something that is presented following payment submission? This is something that seemed a bit odd to me. My friend who took the LSAT was sitting next to me and mentioned that his location/date choice was presented prior to payment submission. I just wanted to make sure I have all my bases covered.

If your payment has successfully gone through, you'll get an "eligibility" email within the next day or two. Using the Eligibility ID provided in that next email, you can go to prometric.com and register your desired test center location and date. So yeah, you won't be able to select the testing location and date before you receive your Eligibility ID.

So you have to pay for registration without knowing if your desired lcoation / dates are available? Is there any way to see availability beforehand?
