Time devoted/sacrificed to prep: April - end of July; 4-6 hours/day (EVERYDAY, as in 7 days a week)... I still had fun and a balanced lifestyle: worked out at the gym everyday, ran a half-marathon, shadow and volunteer, play guitar in my band, hang out with friends, went to a friend's wedding the weekend before the test, watch movies, go out for dinner. All necessary to keep sane.

You have to get good at visualizing the object in 3-D, it's pretty tough at first. I'd recommend doing some Achiever TFE's and then you'll find the real thing easy. Also look at the 2007 ADA sample. Try to make sense of what each line represents in each projection. I would work back and forth between the two provided images to create a 3D image in your mind, and use that to cancel out 2-3 answer choices and narrow it down to the 2 that are real similar and have a minor detail that differentiates them.
