DAT rescheduled without my knowledge?

If anyone has seen this before or has any information on it I would really appreciate some insight...I'm freaking out right now. I was supposed to take my DAT a week from today on the 25th at 12:45, but I just got a confirmation email from prometric saying my DAT has been confirmed for Aug 4 at 8:00 am. I still have the old email from when I first scheduled it saying it was on the 25th. Can they switch the date of my DAT without asking me?

I would contact the prometric center directly and let them know you have a confirmation email. I have never heard of this happening before and I would think it will be an easy fix especially if you have the confirmation for July 25th.

Hope you get it corrected quickly, you don't need any added stress while preparing for the DAT

Thanks for the advice, I'm trying to call but I think they're closed for the weekend. With the DAT so close, I'm already on the edge of panicking and this definitely isn't helping. Keep your fingers crossed for me please!

I am sure it will be resolved on Monday, it is definitely an error that they can easily resolve.

Update: I guess something is going on the day of my original DAT so it would be noisy (not sure exactly what, the lady wasn't as helpful as I would've hoped). I'm rescheduled for the day after my original, so it worked out as well as it could've!

Thanks for the update, glad you were able to get is revolved and only off by a day, not 3 weeks.
