For the sake of God, I can't believe I'm typing this now.
This is my second time taking it and I would like to thank everyone on SDN for all the valuable info.
The scores are

1st 2nd
PAT 21 22
QR 16 23🙂
RC 16 19🙂
BIO 20 24
GC 22 22
OC 23 2🙁

Overall, I thought the retake was easier just b/c I spent more time studying for it. Although I have average RC score, I'm happy with it since English is my second language. For OC and GC, I thought I would do much better on it b/c I had destroyer for the second time. The first time I was taking DAT, I only studied Kaplan material.

For the break down (although I can't tell anyone about specific details),
BIO: I never thought that I would get that high score. However, only one question was unexpected and the rest were fair enough.
GC: Like other people saying, concept questions were on the section.
OC: I was really disappointed b/c I thought I only missed 2questions at most. Anyway, all the questions were very straight forward. Studying destroyer might be overkill.
PAT: Every section was very simple except the angles. They were really hard and I think I got the most questions wrong from this section. Again, I won't complain with what I got. I used CDP and it was harder than actual PAT.
RC: Like you see, the score improved. I guess I was lucky that I didn't get FRAPPED.
QR: I used CDM and I personally thought that the actual QR was a lot easier than CDM. I think I got 16 on the first time b/c I didn't spend any time on this section at all.

Although I can't give out any details, I hope this gives some general idea about DAT. I am really pleased with my scores. I have sgpa 3.8 and overall gpa 3.8. Do you guys think I can get into a dental school??

For further breakdown on the materials that I used,
I used Kaplan BB, Cliff AP bio, and destroyer for Bio. I bought schaum's but I didn't read most of them. I thought everything was wordy and long. I'm biochem major and took a lot of bio classes. I think that helped too.
For GC and OC, I remembered a lot from the last time I studied so going over destroyer was like a review. I thought destroyer does good job on preparing calculations for GC and mechanisms for OC(but like i said, most of the multiple step reactions were overkill). Anyway, I thought Kaplan BB and destroyer were good combination on studying GC and OC.
Sorry for breaking down in a short paragraph. It's been a long day so i'm kinda tired. I'll try to break it down more if anyone has more specific questions.
I forgot to add how many hours I spent each day and how long.
I studied about little more than a month and 6-8 hours on each day. I gave up everything else for the DAT =).

Congrats, those are excellent scores! Mind if you give us a materials breakdown?

(btw those first scores were great, why the retake?)

Thanks!!!
Oh, did you mean how I studied or what I used??
The only reason I retook it was my QR and RC scores. I wanted to go to university of Michigan and they told me that it would look a lot better with higher RC and QR, especially RC.

His science scores were really good but a 16 on QR and RC defn does not look good...but his retake is PHENOMENAL! Great job!👍

Great scores!! Good job!!
Did you use topscore or Kaplan Practice tests before your 2nd DAT? If so, could you post your scores and how many days before the DAT did you take those exams?
Thanks...

good job, I m trying to improve my RC and QR too. what techniques did you use for RC?good luck with everything

Thank you all!!

I used search and destroy method although I did try to read and understand everything at one point but I knew I wasn't gonna have enough time.

Hey I am applying to Michigan also. I was wondering when you spoke with them if they mentioned what they were looking for on the RC. I was also wondering if you could tell me you GPA when they told you to raise your RC. Thanks

Hey, Good job!
What was QR like? lots of word probs, trig...?
Thanks

What was General Chemsitry like? Was it mostly conceptual or were there calculations? Rate Laws? Equilibrium? Dilutions?
