DAT Retake done May 07-09. Need advice !

I have been reading the Dat threads for past couple of months and i finally took my Dat today.

cumm GPA 3.864
sci Gpa 3.847
B.S degree( 141 credits)

this is the Dat break down
Bio 20
G Chem 19
O Chem 19
Reading comp 17 ( the Piano )
QR 16
Pat 17

I am not going for retake so, which school should i apply to get in.

Dental Shadow + 160 hrs
i am going to volunteet for Research this summer...

Don't mean to be harsh, but if you're not planning on retaking the DAT, then you shouldn't expect any good news from the schools during this cycle. Despite your high GPA, your DAT scores are below average. Your RC and PAT sections are below the average for almost all US dental schools. You're science are all average. All your dental shadowing and volunteer work won't mean a thing to the admission committee, unless you can show them you have the strong academic background to survive dental school. Besides, they will most likely question your high GPA after seeing your average DAT scores.
Like I've always said, the final decision is yours to make, but if you're hoping to get accepted during this cycle, you need to reschedule a retake!
 
+1 for a retake. You can do better, don't cut yourself short.

However, if you DO apply this cycle without retaking, try NYU, Tufts, USC, and Temple to start.
 
You should be fine if you aim for the easier ones like NYU, Boston, Temple etc
