I’m reapplying for dental school (14 total). This time around I submitted my application early and planning to submit supplemental fees this upcoming week. I last applied for fall 2006 (7 schools). I was waitlisted for UF. I recently retook the DAT (07/09) yet did not improve significantly. I felt that the recent DAT was tougher than the first time I took the exam. I used Kaplan and Topscore as tools to help yet did not find Topscore as resourceful. I wanted to get opinions on my scores. Should I retake it for the final time? Should I have my previous scores sent to the dental schools as well?

PAT 16/17 (angle ranking was horrible)
QR 18/16 (ran out of brain power and time)
RC 18/19 (pretty straightforward, yet a few questions regarding the author’s attitude)
BIO 18/18 (a few questions I was clueless about)
GC 17/19
OC 20/20
TS 18/19
AA 18/18

The new marker and eraser board used as scrap paper shocked me. I was planning on using the paper to help with angle ranking and hole punching.

My overall GPA is 3.47 and science is 3.26.

Hey, I think you're fine. You're lowest scores (Quant and PAT) shouldn't give you any problem because most schools don't think they're "that" important anyway. You did fine on your TS and with your GPA/sGPA you should definetely get some interviews. I may be wrong but I think you're in good shape. Don't worry about your previous scores because the schools already have access to them even though most only take into consideration your most recent scores. Good job and good luck!:luck:
