DAT Retake

I took my DAT today and did not do as well as I wanted. I will retake it in December, will I still have any chance for getting into a school? I submitted my application back in June.

Scores:
TS: 17
Total Average: 18
PAT: 16

Wouldn't mind any advice for studying either!

If you plan on retaking the DAT, I believe schools will put your file on hold and will only review it once it is complete (w/ new DAT score). Since you won't even have your scores uploaded and sent to schools by late-December/January, it's not very likely that you'd get an interview much less an acceptance.

 

[Caution]

Take your DAT at a later date. Same situation happened to me. We might get a slim chance of an interview, but most likely we will need to re-apply next cycle after we take our DAT's again.

Hey just curious, how exactly did you go about studying this time? What sources did you use? How long did you study for? I got similar scores in my first DAT and will be retaking in October/November so you are not alone on this!
