DAT Retake?

Dude,

Studied my ass off and still got a crappy score. Test was extremely hard and did not reflect what I studied for especially biology. So broad and I spent endless hours. I don't know what happened. Ran into questions I have never seen before and I took kaplan and avg. score was over 20's. Wack dude.

In this case, do you think I should retake my exam? Did horrible. Sci GPA: 3.1 Overall: 3.2 but very involved and have many leadership experiences/awards for community outreach, etc and have over 1000 dental hours as a dental assistant and volunteering.

PAT: 19
Bio: 16
Gchem: 18
Ochem: 18
Math: 17
Reading: 18
Overall AA: 17
Overall TS: 17

Help me Lord!!!! I just need to get in. 🙁

Please send some inspiration. Thought bio was my strongest but turned out to be my weakest.

Below avg gpa, low DAT. Need to retake. If you only took the Kaplan class, that is why you scored average.

Use the books everyone mentions on here to study and re-take. You can get a 20+. Also, biology is the hardest section. I would aim for an average score in biology 18+, and get a really high score in general and organic chemistry since they are easier sections.

I hate to say it too bud. but you need a retake. AA and TS of 17 isn't competitive.

However, the good news is, you got a 17 with just kaplan right? and I will be the first to say that kaplan is NOT enough especially for the sciences.
-Cliff's AP biology is just, the best biology out there IMO
-DAT destroyer for the 2 chemistries, I didn't find its biology all that helpful, but man, the GC and Orgo are amazing
-MATH Destroyer, those 11 mock up tests are about.... 80% similar to what you see on the real QR section, master math destroyer and you WILL do great
-I wanna suggest crack DAT PAT software, but you've gotten a 19 already, I guess you can still get crack Dat Pat, but I dunno how much you need it

Honestly, I sucked at both, I never mastered those 2 sections.... i did however learn the other 4 sections... mostly through Crack DAT PAT.

As far as Math destroyer goes.... IMO, it is the BEST math resource out there. Those problems are about 80% word-for-word from QR section (but with different values)....

I applied to 18 schools.... got 1 rejection (case western) and 6 interviews (Buffalo, Michigan, Temple, Nova, Indiana, and Midwestern-AZ)
