Hi everyone,

I am applying this cycle and took my DAT at the end of June. Here are my scores.

PAT 19
RC: 19
QR: 17
Bio: 22
Orgo: 21
Chem: 21
AA: 20
TS: 21
BCP: 3.47, sGPA: 3.54, GPA: 3.66
I was wondering if I should plan on retaking in September of if I should wait until December and see if I get any interviews first. I was very nervous throughout the test and I feel as though I will be more confident if I decide to retake it again. But I just wanted your opinions and thoughts.

I think that your GPA is a little above average for students matriculated and your DAT score is well above average. In my opinion from looking at the ADEA dental school guide, you should make it in without a retake no problem at some easier schools to get into, as long as you have plenty of shadowing, volunteering, and extra curriculars. Just my thoughts!

I don't think you should have to re-take. Your science scores are very competitive and your academic average is also very strong. Overall, your stats are a lot like mine and I feel very confident.

thank you for your responses! I guess I just have to be confident with my scores and what I have.
