1st question: I'm applying this summer and haven't taken the DAT yet. Originally I was planning on taking it early enough to leave enough time to retake it if I had to, but I'm getting worried as classes are starting in 2 weeks and I've fallen behind on my schedule. When is the latest I can take the DAT again and still apply "early"/in the first batch? I know I have to wait 3 months to retake it..

2nd question: I've gone through chad's science review and I'm working through destroyer and math review now. I have no idea how to tackle the PAT though. I have bootcamp but I don't even have an introduction into PAT.. people are saying kaplan blue book- is that the best to get? I watched videos and looked at a couple tutorials but I feel like my brain is melting.

hi plumerias. I happen to be in the exact same situation as you were and have the same question you posted (question #1). would you be able to answer your own question for me to help me out and when you actually took the DAT and how it worked out? thanks a lot 🙂

In order to be applying 'early' with rolling admissions, you'll want to have your DAT completed by the time apps open, around beginning of June. However, you can still be in the beginning of the application as long as you're complete by June. You can still apply and list that your DAT is pending, but your app isn't complete until you've finished your DAT.

Regarding PAT, DAT Genius has pretty in depth PAT solutions that teach you how to think about answering PAT problems. I'd recommend doing DAT Genius PAT first as your starting point, and then doing DAT Bootcamp afterwards
