Can you schedule the DAT for any time of the year or are there given testing dates?

anytime ... you have to apply for eligibility and then the ADA sends you a confirmation number which grants you the ability to sign up. I think most test centers are open Monday-Saturday.

The application for the 09 cycle becomes available May 15, 2008. DAT scores usually take about 4 weeks to process and get sent to schools. So if you take it sometime in April and submit your application not long after it becomes available you will definitely be applying early!

how long does it take to get the permission to sign up? i plan on taking the DAT in the end of May - should I try to sign up now?

i was told leave 60 days. i myself did it 30 in advance. i know people who did less. i would try to get the eligibility part out of the way as early as possible, and then pick a date abt a month in advance.
