I have recently taken the DAT (7/1/2009), and I don't know if my scores were good enough.

PA 19 (higher than I expected)
QR 15 (far, far, far lower than I expected)
RC 17 (Slightly higher than my practice test)
Bio 19
Chem 22
OChem 21
Science Total 21
AA 19

I barely finished my math section. Ironically, I've been a math tutor for a long time, and received A's in multi-variate calculus, statistics, physical chemistry and university physics.

I am now worried that my score might not be very competitive, in part because of my math score.

Now that I look back at it, and after reading some of the posts in this forum, I feel that I hadn't prepared well enough. I have taken 3 practice tests, all of them from a Kaplan book (paper, online and CD).

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Also, my GPA is 3.16 if it will play a role in this.

Great TS, ok PAT, low QR (all like mine) but overall solid. I would think you are okay if you apply smart. Some schools might have a problem with the RC score, so definitely call each and ask about that. Depending on where you are shooting for, assess what they say about a retake.

I know that Midwestern really looks for at least 18 in RC. But besides your QR score your overall scores look great!

Thanks for the input guys! I've been researching schools, and very few gave particular demands about QR. One of the reasons why QR shocked me was that I actually scored 20 or above on my practice tests. I hope my transcript could possibly supplement that.

Right now, the schools that get priority are the schools in which I have completed all the pre-requisites and whose DAT minimum expectations I've met. I will consider other schools as well of course.
