Hi.
I'm trying to draw the general timeline for DAT.

Here's my question:
Do I have to select the schools to report my DAT scores as I register for the testing? If I don't, does it affect the time it takes for them to release my official score? So it takes 3-4 weeks to get my official score, right? Does that mean it takes 3-4 weeks for ADA to send my score to the schools I pre-selected prior to registration of the testing, or 3-4 weeks for me to get it. If latter, how long does it take for me to check my score that hasn't been sent to any schools, and send it to the schools I'd have chosen by then?
Thanks.

When you register for the DAT, you want to send your scores to all schools since it's free. After you take your test, you'll immediately receive an unofficial score report from the testing center. It takes 3-4 weeks for ADA to send the scores to the schools regardless of how many you selected. However, since your DAT scores will automatically show up on your AADSAS application once you've signed up, most schools actually look at your AADSAS application for your scores. Hope this helps!
