Hey people,
Can we start sending in our DAT scores yet?? Or do I have to wait till I submit my application first, then send in my DAT score??

I sent mine for addition schools last week. I figured they should get them by the time the cycle begans.

Yes, you can go ahead and send your score report to schools via the ADA. You don't need to open up an AADSAS application to send your scores.

Why risk losing 25$ per school by sending DATs so early, if the schools don't have your aadsas yet. I would suggest submitting DATs at the same time you hit submit button on aadsas.

Does anyone now if the DAT score become available to the schools as soon as you request the scores? (I took the DAT in December '08 so it's been more than 3-4 weeks, which they state on the ada website)

i think that your scores are readily accessible by the ada and it just takes the time for them to process your score request order plus the time it takes for your actual scores to snail mail their way over to the dental schools

I called ADA and asked them about the processing time and the lady told me it takes them 7-10 working days to process my request. She also said they don't send any paper scores to schools, everything is online now.
